Hi this isn’t about a love rat but bad experience including a Tunisian man with my daughter

When we arrived it was late. We were welcomed by a nice guy at reception. We got up next day went for breakfast and I can tell you everything apart from Omlette was cold. The coffee machines looked like they had never seen soap or a cloth. One of them wasn’t even working the other was but as to be expected had a massive que, by the time I got to the front there was no cups left. So I waited thinking staff will top them up but they looked at me and walked past me. The manager who I can tell you is very rude to woman and not approachable bought out cups after I asked. I then picked up 2 cups one for me and one for hubby. He told me I could not take 2 cups and we have to share as he needed them. I told him no I waited for them in the Que and it wasn’t my problem he didn’t have enough cups. Anyway long story short it was the same with glasses the whole holiday then if you got one it was dirty.

Alcohol——We also wondered why we wernt merry after 10 yes 10 vodka fantas. The bar staff told us this is because they are told to water down the drinks like the clear ones such as vodka and gin and that the staff that work there only drink beer and whisky because of this. The drinks were that bad a guy from the on site shop got us some vodka absolute from a shop outside (yes we paid him)
– [ ] The food was stone cold every meal and flys all over the food. I’ve never seen so many flys in my life. There was no fly or insect deterrent machines anywhere. The food was that bad, we had to pay a taxi to go kfc in Sousse and back to the hotel 2/7 days why we were there so we could eat food that wasn’t fly infested 🤢
– [ ] We also downloaded the local food so and had another meal delivered from outside the hotel.

There was only 5 English people when we went and we were told this by the animation team. So not really an English resort.
The rooms were standard with a mini fridge that doesn’t get cold and I can tell you this 💯 is NOT 4 star like there website claims neither a 3 star like Engliskh holiday company’s claim. There will be pics added to this review/post that show filthy glasses, and absolutely rotten hairdryers. I even reported this to reception who said it would get cleaned but it never. The rooms were never mopped and bins never emptied. The fridges don’t work in rooms and there is not one fridge on site with bottles of cold water. When you arrive you are told on checking in to always get water from the bar before bed but it was bottles of warm water, never cold or could never have even cool water In the rooms due to the old dirty mini fridges In them not working. We had 2 bungerlows emf neither fridge worked.

On checking in I was charged £30 for WiFi that I was told only worked in reception!
The phone didn’t work in the room and neither did safe as every 24 hours it reset,

The loungers were filthy pic attached and the cushions to go on them were worse. Pool snacks are non existent and every day was 2 choices.

1- pancakes you got at breakfast and 2 ainced spicy chicken sweet roll. There was no all inclusive ice cream. 3pm till 6pm

We had to tip day bar staff to give the reception bar a bottle of pure vodka not diluted with water for us at night!

Now to the bad bits😂😂

The man in the pic below would not stop giving sexual comments to my daughter who was 16
He told her and me he was watching her every day and there are lots of Tunisian men watching her who want her. He was that bad he kept pestering us to buy a necklace and I thought if I did he would leave her alone!!! But nope, his comments and suggestions made her scared and she spent half the holiday in her room. I even wrote a translation message out to show him next time he told me he was watching her. (Pic attached) he still didn’t stop until my husband had to step in. If you have teenage girls do not go here.

You will be asked by the shop to leave your floats as a gift so they can sell them on , which I declined as we go on holiday again in December..,,which now leads me to the Grand Finale ………
So we had our room till 6.30 pm as late check out, we left the hotel at 7.10 literally 10 min in taxi realised we left a adidas bag in our room containing

2 floats
A boss tracksuit
Pair of gold earrings left to me by my nan in heaven
AirPods

I instantly rang hotel and was told the cleaner hasn’t found anything. I ask the reception man to go check to which he declined and said if they were there they would have been handed in, I waited another 10 min and called again but they wouldn’t answer so I emailed. The next day when home in the Uk I emailed again he told me the cleaner had not found anything. I remember the cleaning lady that day saying she finished at 2pm that day so I responded angry (maybe shouldn’t have) saying that he was lying and the staff are sex pests. Anyway left it there thought no more of it then Late Thursday night whilst home in the uk I get a message from the guy in the shop who had my number as he had to buy us the alcohol. The message was thanking us for the gifts!! Omg then in dawned on me he must mean our floats we declined to leave when he asked which was the ones we left in the bag that apparently we never…., so I ask who gave them to him and cut a very very long storey short it was the guy who is reception porter who sets the safes in the room called Ibrahim. They confirmed he sold them to him for 35 Dinar and said he found in English people room. These floats were packed in the bag with rest of stuff. I emailed hotel not telling them what I knew and they declined again. I have since spoke in depth with shop and they have confirmed that they got there 35 dinar back from hotel and reported it but the hotel is ignoring my request to refund my money regardless of me sending them every message from the shop confirming this man stole our stuff sold it and lied!

The hotel have continued to ignore me so I have sent my evidence of the messages between me and the shop who for some reason tried to delete them when they were given the 35 Diner back 😂 but I screenshot every one so they have now been forwarded to my tour operator who is now taking action.

I have the hotel 5 days to reply and they are ignoring me thinking I’ll go away but far from it

⛔️⛔️the pics on trip advisor are not what you get if you look at just the restaurant ones we never once saw a table cloth, serviettes or a table set like that . I’ve added a pic of a nice guy who works in the restaurant which shows how it is really ⛔️⛔️⛔️

Just to add

To catch the shop out I ask questions on what’s app to get the answers needed which were it was the guy from reception, he was called ibrahim, also that he found them in English people’s room.

He didn’t just find them sitting there they were packed with all our other items 🤷‍♀️
